I also use Ryu, I'm about average compared to some of the others on here. I can also use E.Ryu, Akuma, Ken and Guile if you prefer some sparring against any of them.

But most nights i'm fine and win 50-60% of the time. Just it was last night it was insane! Most people i meet on an avarage night are about the same skill level or under. With maybe 40% being segnificantly better then me. Last night it was more like 90%!

Any predictions for EVO this weekend? I'm looking at Poongko here and he's just tearing through people here on casuals, the only guy that really made him look human was fchamp. Would be nice if somebody other than Daigo won this year, wishful thinking though probably.

Was the stream I was watching but it's offline right now, there's some recorded stuff there from yesterday though. As for the tournament play go to the SRK forums all the stream details are there along with the tournament schedule.

One particular round comes to mind where I couldn't really do anything except watch. I don't know if you've played Zid before but you should, best Akuma on here by a mile. I can give him closer games these days even though it is still pretty one sided.

I know on the stream earlier when FChamp beat him a few times somebody mentioned that Mike Ross had said he wasn't expecting Poongko to steamroll anybody because America know the Seth match up. Combofiend really did trash him there though my god :O
 
Poongko was definatley not playing his best he missed the instant head stomp so many times he just stopped trying to do it. I dunno if he was frustrated or tired. Fchamp beat poongko with dhalsim?
 
Poongko had some matchups with Online Tony as well, probably the best U.S Seth there is and it was going back and forth from what I remember. Not surprised if Poongko hasn't done too well in some games since he been going on for a stupid amount of hours since the stream first went up a few days ago. No wonder why he is nicknamed The Machine.
 
those results are expected though. seth is such a risky character, every thing that he does is so unsafe. heck, he dont even have a safe jump setup.

poongko has to guess right a lot to win with seth constantly. there is only so many times you can win the lottery right?
