Hi all.

Looking at having a go at Glamping!! Got all the gear so need somewhere to go in the uk for this weekend.

Im in the midlands so want to stay within a 3 hour drive of say birmingham if possible.

Got a 3 year old so would be good to have thing close by for her to do.

Electric hook up also required

Any ideas or recommendations????????

I am thinking of heading to the lakes with my girlfriend, this campsite looks pretty good at around £28 a night (including electric). Not sure how far it is in the car from you though (it is right on the southeast of lake windermere).

come down south, some great camp sites in dorset and it's only 3 hours tops from brum

try either the new forest or something near lulworth

just google fu, despite living round here, i am not up on the campsites, it is however a great place for a holiday

It's ludicrously expensive to camp down here (Dorset) and if you camp in the Forest you are then miles away from the beach and have to face holiday traffic just to get anywhere. As a complete seasoned camper, I'd much rather head up to Mumbles or similar
