Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I know it is VERY early days, but lets be honest, this close to release, most of the gameplay will be "locked" in.

Is it better than BF2?

The simple fact is that it will never be as good as BF2. It will try, but it will fail. They just don't want to be making games with such longevity anymore.

Am I likely to put in 1874 hours in on this game before I get bored? I really doubt it.

It does look good though.

i cant wait to see the beta to find the games been changed completely.

My gut feeling on this too. But with a wife and kid i think its for the best.

its a good point about turning your back but not sure its 100% vaild, as it looks to me that once your health goes below a set point along with ammo etc, the game does an auto team cry and icon display for you.

So no need to panic about someone getting you from behind,

It's not just you, i think its better that way since assault is on the frontlines.

Yeah I think they merged assualt medic class into 1.

THAT WAS AWESOME!!

Ran behind a tree, grabbed a guy by the throat and knifed him.. Ran around the back of the rocks shot two guys in the face and knifed another . Then a friendly tank came in and started shooting at my ground and i couldn't see anybody and died by enemy fire
