Proposed Watercooling Setup

You could try the older Gentle Typhoons, for example the 1850rpm ones. For a start they should be easier to connect to a fan controller and they don't draw nearly as much current (I'd guess you could get 2 or 3 on a single channel on the Scythe). Plus they're pretty quiet and I think they also have good static pressure which I believe may be useful on a stealth rad.

love it! they sound great so at least 4 of them will get me some decent cooling for my radiator, ive just realised that on the case i will be getting, the 600t white from corsair, has a fan controller built into the top with 4 connectors so lucky me i wont need a fan controller after all. been scouring the corsair forums though with no luck of amperage per channel though, but im guessing it should be alright with these slower fans, an awesome suggestion!

A top is something that basically makes the pump more efficient :)

It's in the op. It says pump with top ;)

you know i was trying to google what that meant, i only could find that i needed one and not what is was for. woo!

just found out! the fan controller is good for 4amps across 4 channels, and this fan uses 0.83A running, phew!

thats quite weird, because that same guy was the one who i found my info one hrm....

As for the startup you are on the money. Startup: 0.36A @ 12V (=4.32W); running: 0.083A @12V (=1W)

Maybe ill still get a fan controller then, that can handle these currents, and use that fan controller for other fans inside the case then. Scythe controller is back on the cards!

I believe the Scythe controller is also only 1A per channel (so 4W total), meaning it may be the same as the controller built in to the 600T.

I believe the Lamptron fan controllers generally do more Amps per channel than the Scythe.
If you're not bothered about a display then I think the Lamptron FC2 has 6-channels and will do 45W on each! (So about 3.75A per channel!)
And it's cheaper.

6 may be a bit overkill for me since i want to make use of the top controller as well, and also who can resist a nice lcd display hahaha :)

Im hoping that this Lamptron FC5 will be ok, im honestly not so good with this whole amp/watt thing :S this has upto 30w per channel....

I can't resist a nice LCD display either :)
As such I have just bought (well, just recieved) a Lamptron FC5 V2 myself for the purpose of controlling some Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm fans!

The reason I suggested the FC2 and not the FC5 was because it was cheaper, provided more amps per channel and had more channels. Plus if you were going to use the 600T's in-built controller I guessed that you might not be too worried about an LCD display.

oOoo look at you trying to go all sherlock on me :D

but looks like thats a done deal, been awesome in giving me advice mate, cheers! now onto more system planning

awesome to hear cleeecooo, i also had a look at your build log mate, and i cant wait to get all my gear and start one too !!

Now after doing a bit more reading, it seems that it would be a smart idea to add a drain pipe line into my system with a T fitting and a sealing plug.

Would anyone be able to recommend to me where in my system diagram i could attach this line? There is an extra port on the reservoir, but im thinking that this is too high and if i was to blow into another port on the reservoir it really wouldnt do anything.

My guess would be between the gpu and the radiator?

No need to bother with a drain port thing.

Just pu loads of plastic bags under over the expensive stuff and cut the loop at the bottom. Let all the fluid flow out and keep shaking your case gently until it's all out.

Your going to be redoing the tubing so it won't matter anyway.
