hi all,
i just noticed Gigabyte has released a new Bios to support intel's upcoming 22nm cpu's,i'm updating my z68x ud3p motherboard now. really glad i wont have to buy a new mobo for ivybridge. :)

After making a brief appearance on the Gigabyte website, the new F6 BIOS for my board, GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3, disappeared and was substituted by the previous version... Worth checking if this has not happened for other boards, as well. If so, it would be inadvisable to update at this moment.

@ betaspin

yes indeed F6 is missing. i would not been too worried ;) in your situation as its F9 which is marked to support ivybrigde (22nm) cpus:

maybe this F6 had some bug:confused:

which bios do you use now? are u happy with it?

for my Z68X-UD3P no missing bioses:D, there are both F5 and F6, with the latest one supporting ivybridges :p

@ all: when these cpus will appear?

Yes, something was obviously wrong with the F6. I am still on the F5, which works fine except for a minor glitch (drops overclock after resume). Will wait for a couple of days before updating to the F9.
