Heads up for people who might be interested in playing another dota style game thats now free

People should probably be aware, this is an absolutely top notch triple a grade game, not your usual free to play rubbish, LoL is fun, but HoN is a bit more serious.

Also realm of the titans is in beta now and anyone is able to join, dont play much of this sort of thing but I thought it was decent.

It is a really good game community can be awful at times but the game has come along quite nicely with heroes and stuff and balance

im hoping the fact theres an option for veteran players to not play with the new players will make it a more noob friendly game cos i remember the rage i got when i first started playing in beta it was bad lol

and after what I have heard about the rage against noobs I think I will stick to LoL till DotA 2 comes out.

HoN's community is something else though - it's really quite harsh.

It's mostly from your fellow team that you get abuse though, so if you get yourself a small group of people you know and play together you should be fine. The game is definitely worth it

The nonsense people bang on about in these matches really ruins the game, same crap happens in LoL. It so draining, specially when you have to read the stuff they type on screen for 40mins or however long the match lasts, and then you end up losing because of it. While HoN looks nice and plays smooth, the community totally ruin the game. I think ill wait for dota2 and if that's the same old **** just give up all together

Cool. I did play it in beta and thought it was good but I do prefer league of legends. I guess I will give it another go now that I'm acclimatised to these types of games.

Every MOBA community is crap, HoNs might just be that bit worse though.
Love the game, but be prepared for some massive rage.

There is an option to play with non-paid players.

Paid players (legacy) can set up a match that excludes free to play people.

I've signed up and hoping to play.

Well not going too well.

Just had this screen saying loading but everything else was happening behind it and I couldn't use any buttons... So I had to quit the game. FFS.
