Despite being impressed by the Z4 23iM, after a test drive of my newly ordered 135iM Coupé, I was left knowing exactly what I wanted. After so long of not driving the 135 it was easy to forget just how good it is.

Have just spent a few hours today cleaning and detailing the car. Also note my amazing reg plate that I couldn't refuse!

Only let down is the rusty brake discs after the wash I think!

No iDrive makes me a sad panda :(

I was a little empty inside, until I bought the Y-cable for the iPod and the Bluetooth cradle for the iPhone 4... I don't really need anything else! iDrive/Prof Nav is expensive to spec from new anyway :D

I would really like one of these. Looks like a lot more fun than my 335i

Probably more economical at least - wheelbase wouldn't be far off the same either.

Currently getting 24.5MPG in city driving but it is only doing the 'run in period' miles. The engine may loosen up and get better MPG, but I doubt it!

Haven't had chance to blat it yet, will do it after the run-in period is over.

more fun how? its pretty much the same car

Yea I don't notice a huge amount of difference in the way they handle to be honest. Got a 1 Series Coupe booked for week after next so that'll be interesting.

I wish the 3 Series was a bit less like a 1 Series to be honest.

I think the biggest difference is the numbering on the back, one has a '1' the other has a '3'

that's pretty massive imo

but back to your car, they are undeniably lovely cars, lack of idrive does annoy me mildly but if you are a happy panda then its all good

What does iDrive cost to spec from new then?

The geek in me would be very upset if I couldn't have it :(

The driver thinks good riddance - one less distraction :D

£2010 for Professional Multimedia Nav...!

I come from a Lotus, so electric windows have me left in awe, let alone a solid roof over my head too ;)

Really? ;)

Your link shows I'm right ;)

Just the one twin scroll turbo - not twin scroll turboS....

If baby jesus was here, he'd cry at you!

twin scroll turbo essentially is the same as two turbos, please forgive my slip of the tongue :p
