What 6970?

Haven't bought ATI for a long time, so I want a 6970 for metro and stuff and the whole DX11 shebang. Seeing as lightnings are no more, something of that ilk? As in super coolers, nice oc-ers?

(Also want to play stuff like iCEnhancer mod for GTAIV too )

They seem in quite short supply at the moment.

Probably down to Bitcoin Mining. Prices will start to creep up I think.

But save some money and get either the Sapphire 6950 Dual Fan Edition+Dirt 3 at £210.

Or the Sapphire 6950 FLEX+Dirt 3 at £216. This would be my choice as it's got the quieter vapour chamber fan.

Over clock them to 6970 clocks or more and add just £12 to the money saved will get you a cheap ssd from here:

Probably down to Bitcoin Mining.

It looks like Bitcoin prices are suffering.

When someone was on about this a few weeks ago they could be sold for $20 and now they're around $13.50.

I imagine [H]'s review on Bitcoin mining has made more people favourable to buying AMD cards!

Now there's been a crazy amount of new miners started and reduced the price right down!

Yea after reading the article I knew it was too late to bother trying.

Hopefully it springs back somehow so the resale value of AMD cards will be high
