Okay guys I just wanted to get the majority view and opinions from you all here.

My friend offered to sell me his PS3 for £80. It's used (about 2-3 years old) but recently broke, got sent off and has a new mainboard in it, so essentially it's a brand-spanking new PS3 inside a used case with a used hard drive. It comes with a controller and it's box etc.
The only things that put me off buying it are;
- Because it's already broke once already and it breaks for me, would I have warranty? If it breaks again (even though its a new mainboard) It would mean I won't have a blu-ray player, plus £80 down the drain unless it's still covered after it's been returned once (it's still within its extended warranty from argos he says, its a 3 year coverage which ends at some point late this year or early next year) or I'll have to save for repairs.. :/
- Would I play it enough to bother saving up for it? I want to play uncharted 2 and the new one, 3 and also Killzone. LBP seems fun too.
- I already have a blu-ray player which the PS3 can do everything the player can, but I could try and MAYBE, Can't garuntee anything, sell this to my uncle and auntie to raise money.
I get about £20 per week (I'm a student, not fulltime employment) so it will take me about 5 weeks to get the money because I also have to pay my mobile phone contract for the month too.
Stuck on what to do :/
