had a quick google, and the steam version only works up to windows xp as this is all that was around on games release. but with the unofficial patch it 'should' work with ALL versions after xp. i know its only £4, but if it wont work could put that towards something else.

no probs here so far, win7 x64 gtx560/2500k
downloaded off steam and applied the unofficial 7.6b patch.
The only problem is that i don't see any splash screens when i start the game

Having problems on w7-amd64 here, with GTX460 and AMD x3.

Black screens for all videos :/

[edit: nm, fixed that :p]

Was it a Steam-specific problem? What was it and how'd you solve it?

Ah just the opening movies (company ads) being black. Solution was Google :p I'm just trying to work out how to get widescreen res to work now. Suspect Google knows this too ;)

[edit: Widescreen works :) Looks like I too have no problems running this on w7-64 :)]

I bought it, and the unofficial patch makes the game work on Windows 7 64-bit.

Got the res patcher from the unofficial patch. All patched, going to test.

ok, i know this is dumb, but i can install it on my laptop now, and then on my pc when at home, but i can only play it on one computer at a time (as steam only allows you to be logged in on one machine)?

bought it off Steam, applied unofficial patch 7.6b, set it to run in xp compatibility mode but crashes whenever I enter/exit buildings with an access violation :(
