I reckon i should be ok with my 6950 if i get a monitor at 1900x1200, hope so anyway.

Not been playing any online FPS for the last few months, but i'm planning to hit this big when it comes out, the only thing that might stop that happening is Skyrim:p

That would put the PC at the front.

Having said that, the guy might be right that the PC will only sell 800,000 at launch, with the consoles selling many more. But the PC sales stay steady in sales because one friend tells another and so on, meaning the sales are much more consistent. I read that console gamers buy on mass and then very little after, simply because they are morons.

So it may be millions more for consoles at launch, but the PC may grow at a 100,000 a day for 2 weeks to sell more overall. I know i didnt buy BC2 at launch, it was because of my friends that i did.

Because console gamers dont have freinds or word of mouth and are simply morons?:rolleyes:

I am buying this game on PC and Xbox, while i love pc gaming and the console version will have less players and "worse" graphics i will probally have more time on the xbox version than the pc version becuase the vast majority of my freinds are console gamers.
Do you think this will make EA & DICE more money on console or PC? I'd bet that even after microsoft or sony take there $10 cut they still make more money of the massive console market rather than the PC one.

That said somewhere in the early parts of this thread I posted that the PC version was the best seller for BC2 at around 35% of total sales BUT consoles still sold 65% of the market just split between 360 & PS3. Nobody ever got a sales in £/$ either, BC2 was down to £5 on steam a few times and ill bet that boosted sales allot on a headcount basis.

I have similarly old 15 inch monitor with 1024 x 768 native res and that is with my 5850@900/1200MHz (overclocked) lol.

I reckon I may be the only OCuker still using 1024 x 768 res!! :D:p
 
Bit fed up of my shots not being recognised. Also my next door neighbor is banging the *******' walls again with his radio up to 11. Bit frustrated to say the least..
 
This game will be huge in many different ways.
Anyone notice on the first map the paratroopers being dropped? Also, anyone actually seen the jets that drop the bombs/missiles to make an entrance to the Metro.

B.t.w. Neil your name isn't coming up with anything in the search, what was your old game name before you got it changed?
