Hey Guys,

I am completely new to water cooling ad have no experience however I am interested in water cooling my latest build,

I don't need anything too expensive just something that will get the job done,

I need it to cool my XFX 5770 Graphics card and if possible to cool my CPU as well,

Thanks ;),

1) you need to do a lot of research beforehand :D

2) Parts you'll need
CPU block £50
GPU block £70
Pump £50
Res £30
rads £70
Fittings and stuff £40

That comes to £310, but you can easily spend more. I'm about to spend £800 on mine

or he can get one of those XSPC/EK kits and buy another rad(depedning on case) and a gpu block.

actually, i think its not worth it unless you go second hand, the money could be spent else where that improve pc performance, eg. SSD or a new GPU

This is also an option :)
It will be worth it if he gets a decent OC from it. Also a great project :D

Forget it. The problem you have is that about the only block that will fit is a full cover block and that's more than half the price of the card itself. The problem with the 5770 is that it uses a mounting distance of 62mm diagonally. Most cards use 72mm diagonally. I had a 5770 briefly and wanted to watercool it. Due to the mounting holes the only block i could find that will fit was a full cover or a ancient core only block that just is'nt worth bothering with. Needless to say i gave up on the idea, sold the card and got a 5850 instead. The 5770 is'nt a particularly hot running card so really does'nt need watercooling anyway.
