Dodge Journey

Anyone got one? Opinions on one?

Test drove one, seemed OK, but I know nothing about Dodge's.

Purchasing this tomorrow, will post info and pics if anyone is interested.

Quite a nice 7-seater, get a lot for your money.... its even got a 'cooled' glove box

Aren't they some kind of bastardised fiat multipla with a different badge? I don't think any of the UK 'Dodge' are real Dodge cars as such, mostly daewoo rebadges etc.?

Could be horribly wrong I suppose!

They make them in the US but dont sell them here anymore.

They ain't bad. A bit cheap, interior's not hot, good strong VW diesel engine though and plenty of kit. Nowhere near as nice to drive as European equivalents from the likes of Ford though - but a pretty reliable old bus.

A friend of mine and I rented a nearly brand new Dodge Journey in the States and too it from Tennessee along Route 66 via the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas to LA. Very comfortable ride, well built, a bit heavy on the fuel consumption but that's to be expected.

You really don't feel the speed though as they are built so well. Most of the time we were going around 70mph but it felt like 40.
