It has been a wonderfull 5 years, you never let me down once and wanted for nothing apart from a few litres of millers, some tyres and some brake pads. Over the years I marvelled over the fine Japanese engineering that provided me with all those cheap thrills and reliability, but alas our time together has being cut short by some Butplug who demolished your rear end, I will savour the memories with great fondness but it is time to move on and find a worthy replacement.

So good bye xxxxx :(:o

I've probably mentioned this before, but i love your username and signature :D

Anyway, bye bye Subaru. What's replacing it?

That's a fine looking example you had, shame :( good luck with the new car hunt though. Oh and as for being unable to justify getting an Evo 8, it's an Evo 8 no justification required!

Oh there is!! Have you seen the MPG, road tax, servicing costs, parts costs and insurance costs??

The only thing that bothered me with mine was the 4.5k service intervals. I could clock that up in no time. These days it wouldn't be a problem as i don't even do that.

Parts and insurance weren't that bad. At 27 I was paying £700 fully comp with only 4years ncb.

For me scoobs were easier to live with, but people always went 'ooh' when you said you had an Evo.

That's a UK model. Turbo2000 at that age I think. Fine looking car.

Maximum Triceratops (lol) - bugeye STi's are very very cheap these days.. ;)

Shame, but maybe just get a newer model. I dont think I'll ever stray away from Jap but sometimes I look at other brands because the Jap's seem to be hell bent on stopping manufacturing performance cars
