I have started the ball rolling on an idea for a competition with a prize that will blow your socks off, will keep dropping hints here and there and once the finer details have been settled i will make an official announcement :D

Conratulations to this weeks tiffy winners Mr Grimgoth Mr Marine Iguana and Mr Edge sahs brilliant tiffys and no mistake. Seti seems to be passing out work on a more regular basis which can only help our output, wednesday of this week the team achieved over 1million credit first time for a long time, well done all.

We have also managed to slash 10 days off time to next team stomp.
If you fancy tinkering with your app_info ... personally i would rather hack off the family jewels with a rusty file theres some interesting developements running astropulse on nvidia gpu!

In non seti related news i will be making 2 round trips to Preston this weekend one of which involves a 3 ton truck, so if you value your motor and your sanity avoid the A1m M62 M65 at all costs :eek::D

Seems as though its back to crunching vlars for me, shame as my rac had started climbing you will probably overtake me in a few days unless seti comes up with da goods :)
On a plus side got the 3 ton Preston return out of the way last night, forgot how peacefull motorway driving is at night, car return tommorrow and i am all done and start concentrating on crunching again :)

Though I'm looking to borg a couple of (pretty poor) machines, so will probably not be eligible for the single pc section by the next news.

Can I run the lunatics installer immediately after installing boinc and attaching SETI? Is this the best way to do it?

Probably be best to install lunatics as soon as your machine restarts after installing boinc, mind you the big question seems to be will there be any work - i've gone from vlars to fumes to folding strange old week:)

Can't keep a good man down, Just wish these hiccups would sod off had them for over 2hrs now :( I'd rather be staring at the toilet bowl than have these ripping my delicate body apart :D :p
 
I never get ill so this has hit me like a ton of bricks :D Last time I had anything wrong with me was in 1997 and that was not cool :D I still think it was a dodgy indian meal :( I haven't eaten for 2 days now and feel so weak lol, I gotta do work on my car as its in bits but need to be at a show this Sunday :eek: gonna be a tight squeeze but I like working under pressure :)

I sometimes work better under pressure but sure as seti you'll have to nosh something or you will be going downhill, best of luck with the car did your license arrive?

Since updating to Lunatics 3.8 I have had random computer error on my 560 that drops the settings to a 1/3 of what they were:confused: I need a reboot to restore which given my flakey ssd doesn't help matters.

Hope you're feeling better soon Marine. A friend recently took up a new job in Dehli. Lost over a stone in 2 weeks, about 6.5kgs in new money, as he got used to the new diet. Mind you he did need to lose weight but I don't think that would have been his first choice:eek:
