Can someone who has this board P8Z68-V do a test for me as i need to find the results of what is happening

I need these settings before the test

EPU disabled
TPU enabled
no graphics card just the 2600k or 2500k graphics
optimized defaults loaded in bios

Then run prime 95 to stress pc and see if it the shuts down after 2 seconds like mine does.

have you been using any graphic cards at all?
are you just trying to use the onboard graphics on the intel chip and you trying to use the lucidlogix@virtu?
what cooler you using?
we realy need to see your set up is?
something is not right
 
Tried graphics card and the 2600k graphics
Cooler Noctua NH-D14 temps are fine
Not using lucidlogix@virtu
psu 650 watt Be QUIET
Memory Corsair 2x4Gig sticks
 
Not exactly the same board but just tried the test on my P8Z68-V Pro and 2500k cpu and so far its run for 20 min ok, I also have 2 sticks of 2gig corsair RAM

something is still not right somewhere.
have you tried using just one stick of mem?
if you are or have tried using the 26ook graphics you need to have the lucidlogix@virtu enabled i would have throught.if you using an graphic card i throught you would need to turn of lucidlogix@virtu.
if after trying all this and still no good it does sound you got a duff one
by the way am still using 0501 bios and works fine for me
