Girlfriend Birthday Help

I've been with a girl around 9 months now and it's going very well, however the first major hurdle has arrived; her birthday. It's not a 'big one' (thankfully) but it's a bit of a worry for me nonetheless. She's turning 27, loves reading, country walks, history, and loads of other stuff I know nothing about. Sadly she isn't into photography, cars, computers (bit of a Luddite in fact) or anything like that.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what to get her for her birthday and I need to think fast - it's Saturday (I've spent the last month racking my brains and have reaffirmed what I already knew - I'm **** at buying presents for people) and we leave for a long weekend in Wales on Friday.

Secondly, for reasons I won't go into my financial situation is beyond dire (although no so bad I would do over a securicor delivery blokey as I read in the paper a couple of weeks ago).

Does anyone have an suggestions for me?

HELP!

The clue is in your username.

Also, get a girlfriend who you actually know something about. How on earth are we supposed to guess what she might like? You know that's your job, right?

I hate reading threads like this. Like we know what people we have never met before like.

GOOGLE IT.

Any author she's particularly keen on? Do you know her book collection? Are there any missing from her collection?

Are there any things that are particular to her that you could get which she'd appreciate?

However, irrespective of her particular hobbies try and be original, get her something fun maybe? Something which she associate with you? Is there a favourite perfume she likes? Or has she spotted things in shops or items she's spoken about that you could get for her?

It doesn't have to be expensive to be thoughtful.

Sopt on as usual.

You should be the one guy who knows her better than everyone else.

Have you both got the day off work? you'll need to spare approx £15 to £20

This is what you can do, buy a daft token gift she can open the funnier the better OR Cutsey ... depends which direction she likes a laugh or a awe!!! Not too expensive though limit to £5 or £10 (Challenge)

Go to supermarket buy bread sandwich filling of your choice, snacks and a small cake / muffin to share. make a picnic and whack the whole lot in a bag with an old sheet you can sit on. Go to your local park find a quiet part and spend some time together, if there's any left overs and there's a duck pond, go feed the ducks...Weather permitting of course.

If that fails have the picnic in the front room at night with some candles

Good luck

Its a win win situation right? :P

Ann Summers isn't all about dildos. There's some really nice stuff in there for you both to enjoy.

Try something like edible body paint, or those knickers made out of jelly. No woman can say no to nice underwear. To name a few.
