Benefits of gaming on the PC in comparison to Consoles.

But it's not adding anything to the game.

And it's not as seemless as turning my head 90 degrees to look at my Monitor.

So you have to have a PC as well then...

Our point is that you have everything in one package.

Hmm I would disagree. I agree with Yahtzee when he said that greater immersion comes from making control movements smaller so there is a shorter thinking time before performing the action. The only way things like Move and Kinect would be more immersive for FPS would be if you actually had to run and dive behind cover and there was force feedback when you get shot. Tell me how do you move forwards/strafe/jump when using the Move controller? If it was anything like that totally retarded Ghost Recon demo at E3 this year then that is not at all immersive.

I pushed forward on an analogue stick to control my movement and pointed the gun to aim and turn. I also had vibration when firing the gun. This is much more immersive than pressing a digital button to move and using a mouse to aim and clicking to fire.

So how did you turn 180? And how did you jump? Pressing buttons on your gun? Oh how terribly immersing. In my experience only rail shooters benefit from gun controllers.

Also I really cannot see the appeal of standing up and flailing around to play a game. That does not make for the relaxing past time I enjoy.

No need for the sarcasm is there?

My point is that it is more immersive than a K&M, and I sat down in a comfy chair thanks.

Obviously not as accurate so useless for online.

Not as many little faggy kids in the PC Gaming Community compared to Xbox

I await the flame but I always find it funny when this is an argument. Yes consoles have lots of young little idiots on comms, but I actually find that better than the much older generation of PC nerd ragers who think there skill/accomplishment in a game actually makes them 'cool', they really should know better by that point :p

Should point out I haven't had a gaming PC for 2 years and now only play my 360 (BC2 mainly, yes I have got used to the controller) but played a lot of FPS games on PC from 16-21 in clan/tournament enviroments and looking back now i'll take the kids ;) Although I only play my 360 with RL mates over XBL so the kids aren't a problem.

FREEDOM!!!! (in Scottish accent)

Xbox - Pay a yearly sub and swallow price of new games.

PS3 - Have your details stolen and swallow the price of new games.

Nintendo - So you like playing games with your nan?

At the end of the day you can pick up an XBOX360 for about £100 or so and get access to online gaming and be sure that any game you buy will run on your system. Good luck matching that on a PC.

I prefer PC myself at the minute anyhow, but console gaming is more accessible and there's certainly a lot to be said for the portability of a console.
