So we all see the debt posts, what about those of us that are careful and frugal with our money?

How much savings do you have? And what are you saving for?

I'm on about £10k between me and wife, house deposit being saved for.

Wonder who has the most savings on OcUK :D

Nothing right now as I've just blown it all on the bathroom. I will be back to 5-600 come the 20th though and that will be starting the Florida '12 holiday fund :D

Because I imagine 10k isn't that much in the grand scheme of things. I only started it out of curiosity to what might be an average savings amount. Feel free not to participate.
 
I had about 70million.

Then gave away 30million or so and stopped playi......wait.....i thought you were on about RuneScape...

mhmm...i have £7 on my desk, to last me until september when i get my student finance money.

Was going to get an ice cream with a girl i like on Saturday.....which isn't happening anymore.....can a crate of 24 strongbow cost £7? :(
 
Personally got about £3k from some inheritance. Need to move it into an ISA to get at least some interest on it... Or pay off some student loan... Or pay off some of the mortgage... :(
Chap I know at work has over a hundred and thirty grand after some very lucky buying and selling of his house a few years back. Lucky get. Oh, and he's only mid-thirties and not on more than £25k/year.

£109,434 in our joint savings account.

£2,500 in my mrs clothes account

£1,900 in my electonic toy fund.

A few grand in our monthly living allowance.

£54 in my sons piggy bank that I can take at will.
 
Did have around £35k until bought new house, now have about £3k and thats going fast.... Cant seem to put any money away now we have bought this place and found out the wife is pregnant.

Around 15k iirc, though 1/2 of that was down to an investment that finally came through this year. Rest of the investment was used to pay a wee chunk off the mortgage, made more sense in the long run...
