I'm going to Warsaw next week, this hotel http://www.radissonblu.com/hotel-warsaw

I will be working most of the day but at night will have a bit of time to get food and have a look around.

Is there anything anyone would recomment doing thats close to the vacinity of that hotel?

Would be good to have some traditional food in the Jewish ghetto as its only 1 km away (any the evening food/drink budget is quite good)

I have stayed in that hotel before about 5 years ago. There are plenty of small restaurants around although I cant remember any off hand. A lot of the shops and stuff are actually under the streets which you access using the underpasses which are at basically every junction.

They are also a lot of Western fast food places like McDonalds (basically every 100 yds LOL) and Pizza Hut if you get caught out though but I always try and eat local stuff when I go away which hasn't been for a long time now :(

The old town is about a 2 mile walk away which is nice for visiting.

TBH its not got a patch on Krakow. Warsaw still has a very "Eastern Bloc" feel about it and isn't as friendly as Krakow IMHO.

Lol "is steps away from old historic town". As mentioned it (Stare Miasto) is a fair walk away but not to be missed.
