Intel 980 @4.5GHz - Where to go?

Hey all, I'm getting a new 2600k set-up this month and I'm in need of a cooling solution. I'm shooting for 4.5GHz with HT enabled, TB probably disabled.

I was thinking the Corsair H100 but apparently it's not going to be substantial.

Someone in the OC&C board mentioned a "Full Custom Loop", apparently a custom built CPU watercooler.
Where this seems like a good option, I also have to consider maintenance.
I have very little time for maintaining parts so I'm more inclined to purchase a Phase Change cooler.

Now, can someone recommend me either a very good watercooler:
either prebuilt like a Corsair or custom built with as low maintenance as possible
or a phase change cooler:
that isn't the OCZ cooler?

Thanks in advance guys!

EDIT:
How do the Koolances stack against the Corsairs?

talking about phase makes me think that you can afford pretty much any watercooling system suggested

we need to know. are you aiming for 4.5ghz or is that what you have achieved already?
reason i ask is because it would be useful to know your cpu voltage and temperature inputs/outputs

my watercooling handled 5ghz on a X5680 easily enough at 1.38v but i doubt any of the gulftowns would do that.

for watercooling you need to establish a few things first
1. internal or external
2. what case you have
3. budget
4. your level of technical skill
5. what noise levels you want to achieve [big rads and low speed fans or less rad and fast fans]

the h100 will not easily handle a 4.2GHz+ gulftown. you need to be looking at something with big rad capacity in my opinion.
any recommendations would be entirely dependant on your answers to the above points

2600K with HT enabled at 4.5Ghz would be easy with the H100 see here

I'd also edit out that first link as its a competitor and you will get a holiday from the forum if a Don spies it.

1. Does not matter.
2. CoolerMaster CM 690 II
3. £300 or lower...
4. Software: Excellent | Hardware: Built several mid-ranged PCs. Have one now. Confident.
5. Don't care. Noise means nothing, I'll have nice loud M-Audio AV40s and a pair of Sennheiser HD 428s.

I can connect water cooling parts together, but I don't have the confidence to start welding/gluing/taping stuff together.

4.5ghz on a 2600k is a breeze and can be done on air. If your just cooling the 2600k i'd go for a closed loop like the already mentioned H100 unless you love the look of a custom loop, want near silent cooling or want to watercool your graphics card.
