But as an example I have 3 paid for licenses for WinZip because I use it on 3 different machines.

I use things and so I pay for them, it's all pretty simple.

If you feel that is OK then go for your life - defend piracy as much as you want to.
However I was bought up with morals passed on to me from my parents. One of these was not to steal, not to take things that don't belong to you.

Thank you for that post. This is the words I was looking for without everyone jumping on my back. I guess no-one on this forums is entitled to an opinion and more.

You're perfectly entitled to an opinion, just like we're entitled to correct any massive errors in judgement.

Calling it theft is ok, as a personal opinion. What you need to recognise is that legally speaking it is very obvious that it isn't theft.
