Where did the deposit scheme thread go?

Apologies about the thread, things got a bit more complicated. Suffice it to say that the issue has been dealt with in a manner that I am happy with.

If I'm honest, it did force me to wisen up a fair bit and realise how you cannot rely on people to be on the same wavelength or to be as rational as needs be. I found this to be the cash with the people I knew.

P.s Moses you really seemed to have a grudge for some reason. I quite clearly made a list detailing my take on the place. Dosen't seem to be a lot to discuss there to be honest.

Still, all that good advice many people (Including me) could have used, gone. :(

Speaking of deleted threads, what was that other deleted one all about just below with the somewhat cryptic reason for deleting? Anything interesting?

God I must be bored, or are all the non-deleted threads just a bit dull this evening?

Someone reviving a long dead (non)-issue - the origins of which probably stemmed from the ranting of a dissatisfied customer long ago - probably innocently possibly trolling.

Lulz, no grudge... the whole thread just reeked of bull****!

How was it dealt with, then? A quick summary, to please the masses?

Fair enough. There was no ********, just me possibly not being as clear as I could have been.

Basically ended with me accepting the status quo with extra on top and being shot of the whole matter. I was faced with enormous opposition by my flatmates and I was in a position where they were going to get the main person to sign regardless (which is binding for all of us), so I cashed out the best I could.

Not a great result, and if it was just me contesting, or if I had more time, I'd have got my teeth into him a lot more.

Apologies about that, it is a shame, the OCUK community really did help out enormously. :(

I put some information about myself that could have been compromising if some people had read it.

Wait, what you paid £500 for spring cleaning ?

I have a house to rent next year if your interested, very good rates. £1,000,000.00 deposit and 50K a day rent each, reasonable ?

I only charge 100K to clear the garden.

Disappointed tbh. The worse part of it is he will do the same again next year because you just reinforced his thought that he can.

I was reading that! There was some really good advice in that thread.

Oh well, back to reading about fat wolverine girls and other GD associated nonsense

Speaking of which where's the wolverine woman thread?? I wanted to check back today and see if pics had been posted! :(

You think I wanted this conclusion? I am absolutely fed up as ****. I feel let down by people who I thought would have had my back and would have been ****ing sensible enough to have gone for my more aggressive plan. However when you're in a joint contract with lots of people who do not feel the same way as you do, options are limited.

Either way, other things were negotiated, so out of my £550 deposit I'm getting around a 1/3 back. A marked albeit disappointing improvement.

I don't really want to discuss it anymore, It's just raising my blood levels now.

If I were you, i'd be demanding the rest of my personal deposit value back off the other flatmates, you shouldn't have to be out of pocket just because they're a bunch of braindead lazy ****s.

I feel that way, but I'm looking longer term than that. I'm chalking this down to an expensive life experience, will not be living with them next year, and will ensure that things are dealt with properly in future.

I've got a job at the moment so I'll make up what I've lost in the deposit in the next week working night shifts.

Lesson learnt.
