Metal gear solid 4 with no disc ?

I am about to buy a ps3 which can not read discs as i only want it for a couple of games i was wondering if i would be able to download MGS4 and Gt5 via playstation network and play them that way ?

I don't think either of those have been released on the store yet. I could be wrong but I doubt it, they're pretty big.
 
Those games aren't available. Even then, I can imagine the download for them will be massive if that was the case. I think Mass Effect 2 is so far the biggest I've seen on the store.
 
I'm not sure if it's worth buying that PS3. I know for now there are "only a couple of games" but you never know what the future may hold. Up to you of course, I just wouldn't do it personally. :)

Me either, unless I was confident I could easily repair it then I'd save a bit and buy a new one or one with a working Blu-Ray drive at least.
 
It's not worth it. even full games that you can download, you pay a higher price for them
 
MGS is not one I can see them putting on the store for download. The cut scenes alone would be bigger than most games :P
