Limbo-maybe coming to Steam!!!

Thats the good thing tho is the "do that to proceed". Their is no plot or their didnt seem to be one in the demo ala cutscene or any text or voice to say what your doing and what your goal is.

:o I'd love to buy Shadow Complex again on the PC. :D

Doubt it'll happen. :(
If nothing at Gamescom on August 17th then I agree it will never happen although Limbo took a year to reach PC............ Epic should just port Shadow Complex it uses UT3 so its not like it will take more than a few weeks to port anyway! (I think the real reason is MS again blocking or not favourable to it just like they have done with so many other games in the past few years.......)

There was nothing about his sister I'd say lol

The plot might as well be "A boy enters "insert pretty and mystical word""

I guess I wanted some kind of depth and exploration of human emotions like there was in braid. I wanted some ground breaking revelation such as boy accidentally killed his sister and killed himself to find redemption / find his sister and yada yada yada.

Limbo on the other hand is a platformer without a story or plot but a good atmosphere and quite decent brain teasing puzzles.

I'm about 30% through the game, so far I'm impressed, I like the atmosphere, play in a dark room on a large screen with your headphones on ( or good sound if possible, but can't turn it up loud enough imo at night :p) :).

Don't really care that it was 10 euros and for only about 3 hrs of gameplay ( I think, going by my current progress).

Braid was overly pretentious for what it was though. Far too much text. I just felt it tried so hard to be some weird artistic thing instead of focusing on the elements it was doing right. I enjoyed the game but I didn't read any text after the first set of books. I signed up for a platform/puzzle game, not a literary exploration of the soul...

...that and the diddlydee faux-irish music did my wick in.

I think Limbo is a work of genuine artistic genius. But I'm not sure I want to part with £7 for this type of game. The demo will probably be enough for me, though I'll certainly pick it up in a sale or Humble Bundle at some point.

Just finished now
Very good game, not as hard in the way of solving as portal 2 was, but still worth the £6
I think the ending could have been better, see his face, find out what it was all about
All in all though, good game !

This thread infuriates me.. Quality over Quantity people! This game is fantastic, played a good 6 Hours and part of that was watching my girlfriend jump out her skin when i made her play the Spider part.

It is definately worth the £7, I have all but one achievement now. I think i will struggle with the last one haha! All i can say is that there is a huge surprise if you be a good boy and do all the achievements. :)

Totaly agreed!

YAY! I`ve played the xbox demo and was blown away by it and secretly wished it would come to the PC as well. I rarely play indie games to be honest but this one really impressed me so I bought it.

So how long actually is it, i play games very casually say 30 mins to a hour and then it can be a day or a few till i play it again.
