What 3 and a half? 4, 10, 3000? 3 murders in a city is hardly massive, I'm sure there's plenty more than 3 in Birmingham every year and that's without guns being legal.

You can get one of you own a bank / Post Office or other place than is likely to hold large amounts of cash too.
That should be your least worry, they probably wont' even count you if you were killed. They will just send out a couple of bin men to come and collect you.

If you get shot it's basically your own fault for being unarmed and probably in condition white.

I burst in to rob the place, see two families, one of the father figures clumsily attempts to draw his legally held concealed carried weapon, so I shoot him and his kid, or possibly he blows his own kids brains out as he attempts to fire back, the other family doesn't move, doesn't cause my any issues, and I ignore them.
That is if you have any kids if they survive infancy being around such stupidly placed weapons in the home, be it taking them to school and being arrested or blowing their own heads off playing with them.
