Cheapest version of Adobe Photoshop?Illustrator?

Hi all,

Just been looking around for a place to buy photoshop and maybe illustrator too. There are such a wide range of prices...and a lot of stores that look very dodgy. Anyone know the cheapest/best? I wouldnt mind if it was CS3, cheers.

Cheapest is probably Software4Students, but you need to be a qualifying student, or have someone in your household who is. You can also get it direct from Adobe, again as a student edition.

ive used http://www.platosoftware.co.uk/ for adobe about 4 times always got the goods

there is some negative reviews on the net though..but i never had a problem

Adobe themselves are doing a very good deal. £905.40 for Production Premium (£1810.80 normal price) using the code SWITCH. You get Photoshop Extended, Illustrator, Flash Pro & Catalyst, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Encore etc...

If you just purchase Photoshop Extended and Illustrator it would have cost you £1400+ so it's quite a saving.

Just be very careful ordering online from supposed 'cheap' providers as their are a lot of scam sites about.

This doesn't apply if you have a specific requirement for Photoshop, (i.e. you are a professional and need to be competent with it) - but Paint.net is a decent free alternative.

Yeah, its for professional use. GIMP and paint.net are good tools but a little limited. Cheers though
