2nd attempt, it was easier as I chose a different category that didn't have a load of stupid symbols and I got 59. 68 third attempt not going to beat that by much.

It's been a while since I've had to do any major typing (Like essays etc) so my wpm has dropped by 10. When I'm in the zone while writing an essay i can do about 55-60 wpm. Plus my keyboard has a dodgy shift key which messed up capitals and symbols.

Even though i've used keboards since the early 90's on Amiga's, then PC's, i'm hopeless at typing, i use no more than my 2 index fingers and thumb for the spacebar!.

Tried the one linked in the OP a few times, average was around 95wpm. Doesn't help that I am using a netbook, especially one with a sticky shift key! I think I got better at typing because I used to Multibox WoW, for the first few months I was using different hotkeys for each of the 5 chars, until eventually somebody taught me how to play 5 toons with one set of hotkeys!

I can't see myself getting on that list without quite a few tries, unlike some of the others here who seem to find reaching them numbers easy.

I only use my index fingers and thumbs unless I'm using the Num-Pad but the Num-Pad is irrelevant in this test

I got 64wpm with no errors on Astronaut. Used to get more than that on the Bebo tests but I've gotten slow over the years.

Same here with 1 error giving me 98% accuracy. I did all of the punctuation which slightly slowed me down but wasn't sure if it counted or not?

Now that I would like to see a video of. Up to 110wpm isn't anything special in my opinion, but above 120wpm is very good.

I just learned from my misspent childhood playing games... and because of that I use all my fingers on my left hand but only my index finger on my right hand... makes me wonder how fast I could type if I convinced my right hand to stop being retarded.

Can't get much higher than 60, I can get a lot faster if I know what I'm typing like I do at the moment, but when I'm reading from the text my speed slows right down.
I also make a lot of mistakes and I always backspace to correct them, if I ignored those errors then I imagine I could get a lot faster.
