Whats the point we cant afford it anyway. Its Chinas problem now.

Loot away. This was about some "angel" getting killed while firing at a police office but hey they wanted to protest at the outrage.

And this is why this "they" get such a bad rep.

London is massive, if you want a village life style then move to zone 6, if you prefer the frantic city lifestyle then live in zones 1-2.
 
this is a very dangerous situation, the kind of stuff one would see in a film but would think wouldn't happen in britain anymore. thought we'd battled over the last of this in the early 80's. absoloute morons spurred on by adrenalin and playground one upsmanship

If they had shops in Wigan, you might be able to 'borrow' and study a map and I suspect that you would find that there is more than one park in London.

The problem is that for nearly every area in London, you have historic properties and fantastic new builds, often with huge Estates the next street over.

The only areas which aren't like this tend to be home to only the super rich. Infact, Knightsbridge right now is starting to look like 'Little Dubai'.


So what you have is people living in poverty, right next to people who work for a living in the Capital. I'm not saying everybody who lives on these Estates are on Benefits, because I know that's not the case. However, spend a week in North London and you will quickly see how many people are. The government can't turf everybody out and put them outside London, so there's becoming a bit of a divide.
 
If they move to the retail park which is non residential, then they'll just end up arrested. Its nice and open with no where to hide and no risk to innocent people as at this time it will be empty.

Its right around the corner from the riots, Halfords, Curries, Argos etc.. They've already trashed the places on the high street like the post office etc... I grew up in this area.. so sad. :(
 
Don't they normally turn mobile phone cells off and give priority to emergency services? I would think a lot of the rioting is being organised via mobile.
