I still find it strange that we have Police Horses....They arent allowed to charge you down Heavy brigade style so surely they awkward and only slightly intimidating ?

I wonder if anyone has ever tried petrol bombing one?

You clearly haven't been near a Police Mounted Horse before with that comment.

I funnily enough was walking past them earlier today at the Rugby while they were holding people back for crowd control. Horses are unpredictable and when you have to walk past and it starts acting uncomfortably, there is the chance that you might get kicked by it.

Given how intimidating that can be, having a whole bunch of them charge at you, even if the Police intend to pull up is going to make you run and get out the way.

I wonder what it's like at these riots. You can never beleive the media as both for and against always seem to twist things.

I'd be tempted to go to see if "innocent bystanders" were getting whacked with batons or if it's just "poor little danny" who had just moments ago lobbed a brick at them.

I don't want to risk getting nicked for assocation though, just for watching.
