Suicide biker today

Hardly surprising. I see a far higher percentage of motorcyclists being reckless than car drivers. I had a motocyclist nearly hit my front bumper as he decided to cut me up. Sticking his fingers up at me for blasting my horn...

My dad got cut up the other day, with the biker just rolling in front of him in a long queue, tried to then be funny, so he ended up being squashed out at the next roundabout, running out of road. Bit extreme by my dad, but, might make him think abit next time, if thats possible for these idiots.

How can you be cut up when your stationary in a queue? And your dad sounds like a total muppet if he thinks forcing someone on two wheels out on a roundabout is 'teaching him a lesson'...shame he didn't find your old man stuck in traffic again a bit further up the road for a little chat...

"how's the weather, by the way how gay on a scale of 1 to 10 do i look in this leather"

?

:p

Was it the power ranger comment or the part where I questioned bikers sexuality when they squeeze into their tight leathers?

Either way, my bad, truly :o

Quit your trolling, it's a single lane road so provided he was indicating with plenty of time the onus was on the overtaking vehicle to make sure he is conducting a safe manoeuvre.

I'm glad that you live on the moon because I wouldn't like to share the road with someone who thinks pointing out that beginning to make a right hand turn into a junction without the driver fully checking their mirrors until the absolute last moment is 'trolling'.

I'm not knocking the OP in anyway and hope that he doesn't take this too personally but people seem to have complete overlooked that his car was clearly beginning to turn into the junction before he had realized that the bike was there.

From the highway code:

use your mirrors, signal when it is safe to do so, take a quick sideways glance if necessary into the blind spot area and then start to move out

Im not trying to knock that biker but at the speed he was moving it would have been easy for the OP to assume he was no threat when doing his mirror check, hell he may have even been too far away to see properly.

At the end of the day the OP did everything right in the eyes of the law whereas the bikers line of thought was something along the line of "ooh that car up ahead is slowing down, should I do similar as a preventative measure? nah!, ooh he's approaching a junction, maybe he's going to- nah!, now he's indicating and coming to a complete stop, id better pull out and overtake"

The idiots are out in full force at the moment!

I was driving to MK via the country roads the other day and I came around a BLIND corner and as I did coming the other way a Bike was overtaking a car and was coming straight at me on my side of the road, I had to swerve into the grass shoulder to avoid him, absolute tool and the only comfort I have is that at least he will only kill himself and perhaps donate his organs to someone more deserving.

The biker in the OP was an idiot by the look of it, but let's not start all the anti-biker posts. We don't post a thread every time we see bad car driving.
