Suicide biker today

if only there was a forum where you could find like minded power rangers and you could exchange tales of extreme road rash and rain enjoyment

oh wait

Sorry, i didn't realise i wasn't allowed to post in a public forum without your permission . So why did my reply to Ryan-3 at the top of the page upset you so much then?, please explain?

I'm not defending the biker at all. If there'd been an accident he'd only have himself to blame but then if you don't drive expecting idiotic behaviour from other drivers, bikes & cars, then you'll spend *half your life* getting shocks and swearing your behind off as a result.
Good reactions but doesn't hurt to be prepared ;)

*exaggeration obviously pedant trolls*

Not remotely upset me chap, I'm enjoying my Sunday afternoon hangover watching breaking bad smirking to myself about last nights stag do antics

I'll not disguise my dislike for motorcycles, best thing I ever did was get knocked off my rs250, leather just didnt look good on me

In other news..... :p

So you can't come up with a decent reply then i take it? Although i suppose that was a given going by what you've posted so far...

It's getting boring now, you can't both have the last word.

Jon.bda and will need to get a room I think :p
I'm not knocking the OP in anyway and hope that he doesn't take this too personally but people seem to have complete overlooked that his car was clearly beginning to turn into the junction before he had realized that the bike was there.
How can you so readily assume it was practicable for him to have noticed the biker before he started turning? Should he stop and get out of his car and take a good look around before turning off the road? Should he post it in the classifieds of the local newspaper a week in advance of turning to make double sure that no one is trying to overtake him? He says he indicated and he was clearly slowing down to anybody behind him, the onus to notice the manoeuvre and to not cause a collision was entirely on the biker in this situation who was overtaking unsafely! Stop being the antagonistic devil's advocate as it's boring, you seem to be to be the sort of person that would always argue the contrary just because it gives you some sort of false sense of higher intellect.

Biker was a ***. To everyone whinging he should check his mirrors, did you see the speed the biker was doing? If the bike was doing a reasonable speed he would have had AGES to turn.

Wow, he'd probably have hit me, I'd have turned right FAR quicker and sooner.

Meh sod the speed, he was overtaking at the wrong place with the OP having his indicators on, while OP doesn't have to expect them coming at such speeds, nothing would have happened if he simply braked behind the OP rather than overtaking regardless what speed he was doing before.

Biker was an idiot full stop, and experienced rider should have known from your speed and position alone that you were turning.
