Another US gun rampage (in Ohio)

and people wonder why americans are idiots, heres a clue...ban guns, would make the country a lot better

Although true, gun crime is still very popular in countries where guns are completely illegal.

Like Norway for example. Banning guns wouldn't change a thing. If somebody has it in their brain that they are going to do something like this, they will find a way to do it no matter what.

Unfortunately their is no way of foreseeing such a thing and it is unstoppable.

RIP to those who lost their lives.

America (appears) to have some serious social problems and it seems like the availability of guns is an influence and a consequence of their extant culture.

I can't see how banning guns in America would be a bad thing, so long as the illegal use of guns is also targeted and clamped down on more effectively.

Dolph will be along soon to say that if they didnt have guns they'd have done it with a cucumber or a knife or something.

But he'll probably phrase it in a way that muses over answering the question briefly whilst implying the downfall of logic of all those that oppose his view, followed by the inevitable three dots...

:p

because the government wont ban them due to gun toting idiots complaining about their civil right to have a firearm

no it didnt get rid of it totally, but it brought the number of deaths down a hell of a lot, i just think america should follow suite

Do you think you might be able to provide some evidence for that?

Gun crime in the UK has always been extremely low, comparatively speaking, even before the 1997 Firearms Act. However it is noteworthy that in the decade following the introduction of this stricter gun control the number of incidents of firearms related injuries more than doubled in England and Wales: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/6372717.stm
