Need someone to draft a killer complaint email for me

FWIW, the bloke who "owns" part of the company / cars (most are financed) writes in the "Fast Fleet" section for Evo Magazine.

The fact you didn't need a helmet shows it's a complete mince-fest.

IMHO, the only driving day worth doing is Palmer Sport at Bedford. There is a reason why that day costs £770+VAT - you get to properly spank the cars with slightly crazy instructors who properly push you.

You should include extracts of posters in this thread in the complaint letter. Something along the lines of:

In light of this, i submitted the video of my experience to an open internet forum for discussion, together with your company name and operational details. The following are real extracts from anonymous posters in response to my video:

'I don't think she would last 2 minutes with me driving, her screaming would be too annoying!'

'The fact you didn't need a helmet shows it's a complete mince-fest.'

'bloody hell that's really bad. i went faster in my old micra 1.0S lol'

etc etc

Well I just went to their site and watched the in car video for the "Ferrari experience"

The track was in horrible condition but to give the "instructor" credit he was urging the girl to get her foot into it.

So yes I would say you had a bad experience

Would not bother.

All "experience" days are run like this. All.

Not strictly true. I've heard of several that they let you push the cars at. This particular example is ridiculous.

The hag never lets him get going. I'd have complained there and then on video. Could have made more progress on a Fiesta test drive with Ford.

And the "track" looks awful.

I just watched the video and can only echo the driving lesson comments, how patronising was it when she told you to watch out for the girl on the right when you were going at walking pace.

I'd expect a performance car day to be mental not a leisurely idle while treating you like derp.

Here you go:

Dear McDrivey-Dudes,

I recently had the pleasure of receiving [INSERT PRODUCT NAME] as a gift. Naturally, being a fan of super-fast red Italian cars I was most excited by the prospect of getting behind the steering wheel for what was described as "an authentic supercar experience"*. What I endured was nothing of the sort. I was 'tutored' by a staff member who constantly talked - nay - ordered me about and even fiddled with the car's controls while I was driving; I was even incessantly told to pull over or slow down to allow other drivers to overtake. In short, I was never allowed to actually experience the power and thrill of driving a Ferrari around a private racetrack. All this, coupled with the staff member's patronising comments did not make for a fun time. This was not a Ferrari experience at all, it was more like an 18 year-old's first driving lesson. When I exited the vehicle, I almost had to check that there wasn't a sign on the top saying 'British School of Motoring' on it.

I am a polite sort of chap and didn't wish to complain at the time, but after getting home and reviewing the in-car footage I felt compelled to put pen to paper.

I'm sure you can understand my dismay and disappointment. Thank your for your time - I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Yours sincerely,

Blackhawk47.

Obviously, I wasn't there so add in more shizzle of your own

The thing is they have to take health and safety seriously especially how there was other people on the test track. You drove a Ferrari what more could you want?

I hope that is a joke. You only have to look at when the lambo LP640 passes me and disappears into the distance to see that it wasn't a THRILL experience. :o

He went up to 70 at one point that I saw.

Well **** me sideways, I did that on the motorway going home in the ****ing rain and had more fun.

Oh god this doesn't bode well for me then. I've got a ferrari 360 drive at silverstone experience coming up through marks and spencers experiences.. i hope to god its better than this.

You didn't pay for it did you? So don't worry about it.

On a serious note I see what you mean but meh life is hard.
