This is only going to get worse over the next few years IMO as spending cuts ratchet up and benefits get cut and make-work public sector jobs disappear, and more and more people have nothing to lose. I have a feeling the ones who did get arrested will be let off with a slap on the wrist and it will just empower them to do it again. A lot of welfare spending is basically protection money to keep people fat and happy and stop them doing this kind of thing but it's running out.

Then add the "middle class" young people who don't have a house, don't have a family, and soon won't have a job... they will be adding to the ranks of these guys. Look at the mob mentality of those Canadian riots. I reckon a few posters in this very thread will be rioting when it goes over that tipping point.

Because the police are normally no where near where the robbery is, don't mistake people running around as all being looters they won't be.

I don't mean as evidence. But you know who to stop and search or look at later on.

Otherwise there are so many people milling around making it more difficult.
