+1 to all points. I can't help but feel desperately sad for all those who lost their flats above Carpet Right. It's almost impossible to imagine that rioters are just on your own street, let alone setting fire to your house. Absolutely awful.
Absolutely. Must be gutting and devastating

All these innocent people having their lives devastated by some ignorant little runts with nothing better to do than to destroy London.
All this is going to cost millions and we just can't afford it at the moment...
But it doesn't bring back those priceless and nostalgic memories that are associated with your home.
That's what I maintain as well.
These looters would have done the same even if the economy was perfect. The chronology of events: Black man gets shot by police. Black community shows anger and riots. What do they then do? They raid shops and steal. How is stealing 42" plasma tv's and trainers from JD sports anything to do with the original protest. Lol, it has nothing to do with it, they're just lazy, unemployed criminals, using an excuse to fill their boots. Not just that, they then burn the very communities they live in. How retarded is that. Ruins it for the people in their communities as well as themselves.
I'm afraid you're probably right - which is really rather sad and awful.
So much of a civilised society - if this is to do with the black community, they aren't helping themselves... but I don't think it's just about that really I don't know if it's fair to specify race here it's more to do with the unemployed, or poorer or ill-educated or the petty wanna be "gangstas" that are easily brainwashed. They're all "youths" - they have no idea...
No being funny but they don't deserve a ******* carnival.
You get respect by giving respect!
Never said I was against that, but just pointing out that it would kick things off more!
