Hi guys,

Good to see the review of the HZ27WC in this month's PCPro. Supplier is down as overclockers so you guys should see a spike in sales soon. It was a positive review.

I may even be tempted into getting one :)

Thing is anyone with a 5xxx ATI card is going to have issues, They didn't mention that in the review which puts this panel down imo.

Couple with the fact that people have been getring issues with a fuzzy image until you turn it off and back on again says to me the panel hasnt been fully tested and in general has problems that other panels do not have.

Wanna go out and buy a new GFX card just cause you have a 5xxx card?

The only issue reported with ATi 5xxx series cards is that the BIOS/CMOS info doesn't show during startup for which a f/w has been agreed to by AMD.

We've had no RMAs for this so far [from the hundreds sold via Overclockers to date]. Therefore, to suggest its a common problem with the panel is incorrect.

Hazro,

I really want to order one of these, and have been waiting very patiently. How much longer is it going to be? I'm in North America if that matters.

Thanks.

I have to agree with this, only a few people even on OCUK have reported that, and how many have actually tried or bothered to RMA it?

I get the fussy image issue sometimes (on a WA). I find changing the resolution fixes it normally.

How many people are going to RMA on a RTB warranty for that issue? No i suspect. I certainly won't be bothering. If it was a on site warranty on the other hand i WOULD RMA the display.

Exactly the reason the Hazro has a RTB warranty i would expect (to stop all but the worst returns)

Is there a link to it?

Sorry, posted just with regard to the latest issue review.

Thanks, I'd not looked on the site. I guess that the link to the review was in the review.

I'm looking to request one for my combined anniversary/Christmas present; she's getting a ring. I have SLIed GTX260s so HD5xx0 series issues won't affect me; however, I won't be happy unless it's pretty much perfect.

So there's a matte version now? Read in another magazine about the "plastic screen cover" on the glass version, wish they would get the facts right!

Hopefully will be picking one of these up once I build my new rig in the next few months or so.

Some of the info given in the reviews is shockingly inaccurate. We're in contact with the reviewers to have details amended asap

Good as that review was terrible imo im suprised as the mag is normally decent there is a review in pc format that is better which is reprinted all over the internet that says the hazro HZ27WA is a better panel then the dell u2711 when you havent got the plastic screen in the way they say the only thing other then that that lets it down is the stand which is cheaply made i know you can buy the better stand i just wish it was included on the monitor but i guess you get what you pay for and it is cheaper im still going to buy one i reckon :)

Seems like there are two Hazro HZ27WC versions on this website. Would be nice to see a detailed comparison between the two models.

Well, I sure hope once they restock they've fixed a few of the issues - would simply be appalling if they didn't.
