The end is nigh!

So my girlfriend used to be a Jehovahs witness. She's been out of that crap for about 8 years now but a lot of her family are still in it and whilst I understand it's hard for her to forget it all having had it drilled into her brain for 18 years, she herself chooses not to follow it.

Now I'm sure we have all seen whats happening in the news with the riots and american stock markets etc etc and so the texts from certain family members and friends ( in italics because they aren't friends, they are old acquaintances who she doesn't see anymore) saying "it's Armageddon approaching", "you know the right thing to do" and it's "Time to sink or swim".

This really ****es me off:mad: If she wants to believe your crackpot, Christianity spin off cult, then she will otherwise respect her not wanting tobelieve and spout your crap elsewhere!

Such a shame to be saddled with such nonsense, I hope it spurs her to give those friends and acquaintances the hoof.
 
When these religious types get the bit between their teeth it's hard to rein them in. I'm glad they didn't manage to break her in.
 
I do feel sorry for kids in these families that have it drilled in to them from an early age and know no different.
 
What's your mane concern? That she will go back to being a witness, or just that they are sending her religious propaganda? I wouldn't worry about it. Hoof are they to tell her what to do. If she's changed her ways, they canter force her to go back.
