ahhh cool, being white, might have to get me some volts seem very very low indeed, wonder if Ocuk are getting any in anytime soon :)

Looks like Corsair have finally realised that the enormous plastic fins stuck to their standard vengeance range aren't exactly practical....

Came today, not bad

Installed mine at 1.33v 9,9,9,24 1600mhz..

Just stressing and will see how low they will go.

Ver 2.12s are horrid. I have 6 of those with the old heatspreaders, they do 1600 Mhz Cas 9 @ 1.3v, but they wont ever do Cas 8 nor overclock much with extra voltage.

Was hoping to get some tighter timings out of them....

It didnt happen did it?

The best mine manage is 9-8-8-15-100-1T with a huge 1.65v, even though they do 9-9-9-24-100-1T with just 1.3v. Thats why I stuck my 2 Gb geil modules with elipda chips back in that do 1600 Mhz Cas 6 @ 1.6v.

Ver 5.11 Vengeance sticks are the good ones - those are listed as either Cas 8 1600, Cas 9 1866, or Cas 10 2000, you should make sure that you only buy vengeance ram with those specifications to get the good sticks.

I made a huge mistake buying mine, I hope other people realize that the Ver 2.12s wont ever manage lower than Cas 9, nor 1866 Mhz before buying them.

OcUK is not here to be used to hint and promote where to find stuff elsewhere.

We will always consider an item we don't stock, but using OcUK forums to promote competitors, hint at competitors pricing is breaking the rules.

Your all getting a holiday, only joking. ;)

Thread cleaned up, we shall look at getting this in the next few days. :)

So any CL8 vengeance is the version 5.xx stuff? I can't seem to find any that is 1.35v low profile and CL8 however (Is that even possible?)

I would settle for 1.5v 5.xx cas8

I have a crosair 600t white, i was actually considering these just because there white and for 8gb its what i paid for my current ram (4gb g-skill 1600mh 8-8-8-23)
Is this ram faster? also will it work with 1156 motherboards?

It should be.

2.12 is the 1.35v Cas 9 1600 Mhz (also 1.5v Cas 9 1600 is the same stuff, just untested at lower volts).

5.11 is Cas 8 1600, Cas 9 1866, or Cas 10 2000 rated modules.

Not all 5.11 sticks will do all three of those settings, Corsair need to test and bin them separately.

If all you want is 1600 Mhz Cas 9, G Skill have the upper hand here because their current Cas 9 ripjaws are doing 1600 Mhz at just 1.25v and they cost a LOT less than the vengeance sticks do.

Vengeance Cas 9 modules are overpriced for basic Cas 9 4 gb modules compared to G Skills. I've got and have tested them both, I'm just waiting for the prices to go back up before getting rid of my vengeance sticks.
