For those who don't wonder out of GD, there are hardware company representatives from places like Antec, Asus, AMD, Corsair, Gigabyte, MSI ect on our forums.

I've seen on other hardware forums there has been a group for these people - on overclock.net there is a little banner beneath their username like this for easy identification.

I'd say this should also be on OcUK with a special title and avatar since we are getting a growing number of them - what does everyone else think?

would be better in general hardware would it not?

Also are these legit representatives or anybody who claims to have worked there at some point?

Move to General Hardware if necessary.

I know a AMD rep called JF-AMD used to be in the CPU forums (also exists on other forums), everyone knows Yellowbeard from Corsair, there's the Gigabyte rep in motherboards and there's the MSI guy that ran the Easter competition.

Pretty sure they have these at quite a few other forums. I would name them but I'm not sure if I'm allowed.

Does OcUK consider other forums "competitors"?

games companies and devs aswell. i laughed hard recently when someone in the bf3 thread said im not bothered about ea and the nda on bf3 alpha one dev was posting in the thread as he said it :p

few other games company people are on here aswell . whether thet want there secrets or status known is another factor.

I wonder how hard it would be for the admins/Dons to implement this, it would also require some sort of verification that the user actually works at the company.
