Greying hair - anyone dyed it?

I'm more worried about the excess hair sprouting from various other facial orifices, grey or not.

Plus my manly chest hair is getting so thick and grey I have taken to body hair trimming.

This I feel is acceptable and not at all gay..

We need a Photoshop guru in here to make that grey, stat! Bitches love grey man-perms.

Barber said if I want it done to go to the chemist, get them to match my natural colour & then he'll dye it for me.

Seems to be very few people on GD who actually dye their hair...

Mine started going grey in my late 20s and is now more grey than black, no way I'm dying it, no matter what the wife, mother, sister and grandmother say. Notice a theme on where the pressure is being applied from.

I do, though it's more to do with wanting to be a bit more distinctive [different colours] than it is about covering grey.

There is of course, an element of vanity. But until someone can prove to me that vanity is a bad thing - without resorting to the sort of religious texts that decry it while at the same time giving the thumbs-up to whoring out your daughters - I'll keep on being vain, thank you very much. And hey, all you wearers of expensive watches, jeans and trainers: how much pride in personal appearance have you got going on there, hmm?

OP: There's nothing wrong with dyeing your hair. It's the 21st Century. Nivea are sponsoring men's sports events, for chrissakes. But bear in mind that the shorter the hair, the more frequently you have to dye, and it can become a bit of a chore.

Yes hair is still quite short, less than an inch, going to let it grow a bit more 1st while I build up some confidence to dye it.

Just become a silver fx...my hair on my head hasnt really gone grey even though im close to 40 now...but my goatee has gone grey almost completely...thankfully my gf likes it, calls me her silverfox which is all good:p

Just go grey man....the dye will wash out and honestly its a pain to keep it dark or non grey.

I dye my hair since it started going grey in my early twenties and now I'm only 27 and I have loads of grey :(

It's alright if you're older to just let it go grey, but if you're in your twenties and have dark hair it looks strange (to me anyway). Freaking depressing, now I am worried about it falling out due to using hair dye on it, since those chemicals cannot be healthy and probably contribute to hair loss.

Always annoys me when I see other guys older than me with proper jet black hair and I am younger with loads of grey :(. Damn you genes!
