i cant speak from experience, but ive heard that for FPS's its pretty much a gimmick, but for racing games its a great addition

WoW is good in 3D. I've tried it and it looks great. Was tempted to get a 3D kit but it's just not worth it at the moment.

You can see some of the new realms are designed with 3D in mind with some floating bits all over the screen.

rts games are really good. They really give you the depth between menu's and the battlefield.

My experience with this is dawn of war II. Rated as excellent by nvidia.

no no no no no, 3d is fad, no-one wants it.

the 3ds is failing
3d cinema is failing.
3d tv pick up rate is still slower then none 3d tvs.

what more do you want?

Always said 3D gaming will fail and I stand by it.

The only game I can ever remember looking good in 3D was trackMania at LAN i32 on PC. Promotion stand!

Not at all, Infact it causes your eyes to hurt after a very short period, The only thing i see 3D on black ops was the gun when looking down the sights and the ammo count etc, Really rubbish on somegames, Wow factor does go after an hour.

I have a 3D vision set up and I don't think its worth the money spent to get it. It just feels like a gimmick and I spend more time gaming without it.

RTS's work very well with added depth in 3D. World of Warcraft is ok, but has problems clicking on in game toons like quest givers. Not tried any racing games yet, or Flight Simulator.

I usually use 3D for movies and RTS's.

Has anyone got any sources to prove it's failing because i'd love to shove it in some people's faces.

tried it once, after the initial "this is pretty cool" part realised it din't really increase immersion for me and went back to normal

Just bought a 120hz 3d monitor and nvidia glasses......played black ops for 5 minutes couldn't hit a thing and nearly threw up afterwards.....wasn't 3d it was more like depth tv. sent it all back.
