Riots in Tottenham, London! (NO RACIST COMMENTS)

Had a job booked in for Sutton High Street this afternoon which has been cancelled as apparently police have told all of the high street to close down due to riots!
 
Pickles just said they were targetting stores like Dixons. Have these rioters got time machines now? Will Rumbelows be hit next? :-o

I feel a bit like the journalist at the beginning of War of the Worlds, watching the events that destroy the world unfold. We're standing on the edge of some kind of societal paradigm shift and watching it happen.

I can't put it into words exactly, but it's like watching the whole world change. I honestly don't think things will ever be quite the same again.

I need a drink.

Just come back from work in Uxbridge. We were all told to leave early as a reliable source has told us that there's going to be a big meet up of the yoot somewhere nearby at 4pm. On my way back there were an unusual number of these yoot on bikes hanging around Uxbridge road and a lot more ambulance sirens than usual. If you live in and around West London, stay in your homes!!!

I saw it, cant remember the exact conversation but she said something like "are you sure there was only black people there?" and he said something like "ok it wasnt all black people because I was there" LOL :D
