However the point the woman raises is a good one - 30-40 years ago almost everyone went to Church where they received moral guidance in addition to what they receive from their parents.

Now, hardly anyone goes - so where do people get their moral guidance from now apart from their parents? And if their parents aren't doing their job properly what fills the moral vacuum?

Never been to church, never been religious, never been Christened either for that matter.

My parents aren't religious.

But funnily enough I was raised well and I've never been a criminal. I know the difference between right and wrong. It has nothing to do with being a Christian.
 
I got my moral guidance from my parents, family, teachers and family friends/other adults I'd come into contact with. Pretty much all of whom I had respect for. And still do.

Well said. I couldn't be less religious if I tried but I seem to have turned out OK.

The police are authorised to use whatever measures they have to control crowds.
As for the second point, search this thread for my name and read my posts. I've made my point well known multiple times and explained it properly.

Tabbed onto the site to take a look and OH GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE.

He makes some good points though... Its just a real shame that none of these reports will make a different. No one who would take part in these attacks would care.
