Hatred towards police?

I hold somewhat of a biased view because I've had a "run in" with them (and no, I'm not a thug and it wasn't for drugs either). Before this I was indifferent but discovering how they really operate completely changed my opinion about them. They are only human so they will lie to cover their arses and use dubious tactics to secure a conviction, such as convincing gullible people that they MUST sign a witness statement by telling them they'll be in even bigger trouble if they don't

And don't forget the classic "don't worry, just own up and we'll only give you a caution"

Whilst the left wing go on about 'reintegrating them into society' and crap like that, after they've burnt down 4 shops and set fire to a few cars.

I'm sorry, can you point out the people in 'the left wing'?

Because actually, I'm not in the 'left wing'. So I presume you were talking about someone else.

Nor has anyone said integration into society, you should start to read what you rant about. :)

Or not. British policing has never just been about enforcing the law. Police officers are just as much social workers, marital guidance councillors, nurses, babysitters and everything else.

Exactly, people don't join the police force to serve the government, they join because they want to protect people and make the community a better place.
