1956: Canning Town seems to be calming down now. Groups of men have reportedly gathered in pubs in Eltham and are waiting for looters to show up. Apparently Millwall fans are patrolling the area, looking for confirmation there.

Wouldnt wanna mess with Millwall!!

It's not a case of hating the police. It's a case of not shooting off your mouth until all the facts are known. Nobody deserves to die at the hands of the police. There may have been justification for such action then again there may not have been.

So now we make value judgements on a person’s life because they are a criminal on top of not knowing the full facts. To say that someone deserves to die in such circumstances is just morally indefensible. It stinks of uneducated, bigoted narrow mindedness.

Blimey, where were we? I'd almost forgotten we still have riots on our hands.

Convicted London rioters should loose all benefits.

Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

Any persons convicted of criminal acts during the current London riots should have all financial benefits removed. No tax payer should have to contribute to those who have destroyed property, stolen from their community and shown a disregard for the country that provides for them.

if y ou page a post, and then hit refresh, it doesnt go to the end of the page , ie the last post you were reading

it goes to your last post , and you still have to scroll down

Convicted rioters should be sent to the front line in afghanistan and they can see how much 'of a laugh' it is there taking some bullets.

It does initially go to your last post but will still load down to the same part of the page you were on when you hit refresh if you give it a few seconds.
