Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Man, you think Sim is bad, try playing him as DeeJay.

He has most of Ryu's tools, but worse in every way, and lacks DERP into Ultra, an overhead a versatile super etc :(
 
Just had a decent length set vs marge's dudley and its really interesting. I dont think ive played a dudley the way he does before. very careful (for the most part), uses dudley pokes and normals very well. he also seems to have adopted the "Adz magic throw" lol.
 
I also played his Dudley today. Rather than get raped like last time, it was more the other way around. Knowing he's looking for a jump-in to antiair whenever he backs off to midscreen, not throwing fireballs from midscreen, and doing a lot of backdashing made a huge difference.
I ate an average of 3 or 4 st.HPs per game yesterday, but only got hit by it once or twice total, in 5 or 6 games today.
Maybe he just had an off day though.

yeh you really have to be careful with throwing fireballs at bad ranges against dudley. mainly just poke and AA to try and keep him out.
 
A "vortex", which Ryu also has (jhp/jmk ambiguous crossup clp cmp chk repeat is Ryu's version).

He's also very hard to jump in on if he has charge and is "standing" (his wakeup game is one of the worst, his only invulnerable reversal whiffs crouchers and cannot be FADC'd).

He's not a good character, but it feels GREAT to beat other people with low tier!

actually it is not even fully invulnerable. i can get a trade or beat the ex up kicks and or machine upper with a meaty with makoto.

He was having an off day yesterday and some problems with his stick. I beat him a few times using Guile, that says it all! Is the PC version really that much better online?
 
i did what you said kreeeee and i am still getting input lag and stuff. i wonder does my bro playing league of legends have anything to do with it. but it doesnt effect the xbox ssf4 and mvc3.

PCs are more sensitive to vibrations, it might be because your brother is smashing his head against his desk, a common symptom of playing league of legends.

lol he is not playing league of legends on my pc! i have enough stress with this game as it is.

Ggs to overmostheads. First time Ive had a decent session against his Oni and its very strong. Good zoning and combos. I dont know the matchup that well so I was lost as to what to do sometimes lol. Think we were about 50/50.
