What settings could i play at on most modern games e.g Fallout:New Vegas, The Witcher 2, and what settings could i possibly play at on futures games such as TES V: Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3.

Processor: Intel Core i5 2500k 3.3Ghz

OS: Windows 7 64

Ram: 4GB DRR3 1333Mhz (2x2gb)

Graphics card: Radeon HD 6770

Okay and i found the nearly exact same thing except cheaper but instead of an Intel Core i5 2500k, it was an AMD Phenom II x6 1055t and instead of a Radeon HD 6770 it was a Radeon HD 6870. So which one is better out of the two of these? I know that the i5 2500k is a better processor but then the Radeon 6870 is a better graphics card.

My monitors res is 1280x1024, should I get a new one or will that be fine for gaming? I use it now for low spec games and I think it's pretty decent or would I be better off with a higher res monitor?

You can still crank the settings up.

This isnt accurate at all, as the systems used cpu/ram etc) are slower than Sandybridge.
