It's speculation currently I thought, from what's been described I think it's a logical conclusion but no point in jumping to conclusions until we know more.

IIRC the bullet lodged in the police radio was initally assumed to have been fired from Duggan's gun.

I hope all those people saying we needed tear gas, water cannon and rubber bullets are feeling pretty silly now. Though the night is young.

Err.. NO.

If the police had nipped this in the bud on the first night then police wouldn't need to be brought in from other counties (which surely is affecting other regions)

Other events such as football matches would have gone ahead with policing allocated there.

Many shopkeepers would not have lost their livelihoods or home-owners made homeless.

As one of the more powerful nations of the world, it is just pitiful to see the poor management and resources in dealing with this.

Tourism has been dealt a big blow and quite frankly the whole episode over the past few days is an embarrassment for us Brits.

It is a lesson learnt and hope the govt take heed and push forward better measures going forward.
I hope tonight is the worst of it.

Usually yes.

Most have exceptions for "civil unrest" however

My wife confirms - if she can find a job easily, they can, too. But it's not a top secret Britons simply don't want to get a 6.50 job.
