I've seen similar things doing the rounds.

Nonsense statements like that are quite irritating and are completely unrealistic in what they are trying to say. Mass irrational bias against the Conservatives, complete socialist left wing Labour-like agenda oozing out of it. No one should be sitting here trying to make party political points over these events.

Those trying to make party political gains over the last few days have been almost exclusively Labour party members (or their supporters).

The EMA is a luxury that free and wealthy societies can provide. We can no longer afford it, if they want to blame a single party for why we can no longer afford it, they certainly shouldn't look at the Conservatives.

They conveniently forget just how many Labour politicians are from public schools, some from schools even more expensive than the famous Eton. Yet another ridiculous stereotypical statement loaded with mass anti-Tory agenda.

There's plenty more to pick apart about that statement but I like to think that others can see through the blatant nonsense as well as I can.

Sorry, I didn't see any requests for that. You can understand with the speed that this thread has moved it's been difficult to keep up with everything said. Sorry if you felt I was ignoring you. It wasn't intentional, I can assure you of that.
I believe I have come across fine. Because I haven't been calling for us to get out the rifles, and start beating everyone in sight up I seem to have upset a few people. Ah well. I'm happy that my view will be shown to be the correct one. It's one shared by people with far more knowledge in these matters than you and I. That says something.

What you've done is post shallow surface impressions as if they were meaningful. You've confused proximate causes with ultimate causes, and then suggested a string of "solutions" based on narrow, naive misunderstandings of what is going on and how to deal with it; you're idea of where to go next has demonstrated your complete lack of knowledge of the history of what has happened what your ideas have actually been tried and the results thereof.

edit Although to your credit, at least you've risen above the truly mindless racism exhibited by many of our less bright forum members.
 
As we in the country have lost fox hunting, can we have chav hunting?

The rules of chav hunting are:
  1. You do not talk about chavehunting
  2. you do not talk about chav hunting
  3. If its your first night you must hunt
  4. Chavs must be hit with clear identification waterproof dies paints
  5. Equipment required; paint-ball gun, paint-balls with dies, and hunting vehicle, If you cannot afford a paint-ball gun a brush tied to a pole will do with some dulux
  6. All hits must be filmed
